Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enhance a steering accuracy and to improve a space efficiency as an entire missile by providing a torque motor in the direction perpendicular to an axial direction of the airframe, and coaxially coupling a steering shaft of a steering wing to a harmonic drive coupled directly to the motor.
CONSTITUTION: Since a steering shaft 6 of a steering wing 5 is coupled to a harmonic drive 4 on the same coaxial axis K, power is transmitted via the drive 4 having no backlash, the rotating wing 5 is not fluctuated, and a steering accuracy is enhanced. Since a pancake type torque motor 2 is provided as an actuator in a direction perpendicular to the axis 1 of the missile 1 and the shaft 6 of the wing 5 is coupled directly to the drive 4, all components of a steering unit are disposed on an extension line of the shaft 6 to reduce in a direction of the axis 1 of the missile 1. Accordingly, a space efficiency as the entire airframe is improved, and an internal mounting efficiency is enhanced.
