Abstract:
To provide a steering device that can more suitably absorb the force acting in an axial direction of a turning shaft.SOLUTION: A steering device includes a bearing 20, a disc spring 32, and a plate 31. The bearing 20 supports a ball screw nut so that the ball screw nut is rotatable relative to a housing 10, and is disposed slidably in an axial direction of a turning shaft relative to the housing 10. The disc spring 32 is disposed in a compressed state between the housing 10 and the bearing 20 such that the ball screw nut is elastically supported via the bearing 20 in the axial direction of the turning shaft. The plate 31 is disposed between the housing 10 and the disc spring 32 to restrict the disc spring 32 from moving in the axial direction of the turning shaft. An inner peripheral portion of the plate 31 with which the disc spring 32 is in contact is separated from the housing 10 in the axial direction of the turning shaft and has bending rigidity lower than that of an outer peripheral portion of the plate 31 with which the housing 10 is in contact.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
