CONSTITUTION: A displacing member displaced by a steering operation and a steering force giving means for giving a force to the displacing member along with the steering operation in the direction of hindering the displacement are provided. Specifically, while the steering force giving means is connected to a steering wheel 11, it is composed of a main shaft 12 having a screw part 17. Also, the steering force giving means is composed of a slide nut 14 moving axially along with the rotation of a main shaft 12 and compression springs 15, 16 for giving a press force in the direction of hindering the shift of the slide nut 14 to the main shaft 12.
