Abstract:
To provide a steering lock device to which an operation knob for manually rotating a rotor is attached, in which a key hole that a mechanical key can be inserted is formed in a rotor rotatable from a lock position to a start position through an ACC position and an ON position and whose appearance is enhanced and the play of a knob cap in the operation knob can be prevented.
An aperture 93 communicating with the key hole 31 is formed in the operation knob 30 and the knob cap 100 fitted to the aperture 93 to close the key hole 31 is detachably fitted. A resilient element 100e coming into resilient contact with the inside face of the side end of the key hole 31 of the aperture 93 is integrally formed at the tip of the knob cap 100.
