To provide a steering supporting structure of a vehicle capable of improving operability of a steering wheel, reducing fatigue feeling of an occupant and taking much adjusting margin when adjusting the steering wheel in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle according to a difference of physique of the occupant.
In this structure, a dash panel 6 is provided in the front part in a cabin disposed with a seat on which the occupant sits, a steering supporting member 13 extending in a vehicle width direction is provided in the rear part of the dash panel 6, and a steering device 26 is connected to a front end part in the steering supporting member 13, while a steering shaft 14 on which a steering wheel 27 is mounted is supported at a rear end part. The steering wheel 27 is disposed to face to the shoulder part of the occupant. The steering shaft 14 is disposed via an upper side of the steering supporting member 13 to be mounted on the steering supporting member 13.
