Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stencil printer and a paper feeder designed such that paper feed failure such as jamming of paper fed from the paper feeder is less liable to occur even when the interval between a plurality of punched hole parts in a plate is set short to a certain degree when executing a printing mode in which printing productivity is enhanced.SOLUTION: Punched hole parts MG1, MG2 are formed in a plate M with a space between them along the running direction of a plate drum 10. A plurality of sheets of paper P1, P2 are fed from a paper feeder. When images corresponding to the punched hole parts MG1, MG2 are printed one after another on the sheets of paper P1, P2, control is exerted so that the paper interval between the paper P2 fed from the paper feeder and the paper P1 preceding the paper P2 is greater than the interval between the punched hole parts MG1 and MG2 of the plate M and so that the speed at which paper after the second sheet of paper fed from the paper feeder is higher than the speed at which the first sheet of paper is fed and the running speed of the plate drum 10.
