To provide a stencil printer suppressing residual image development causing image abnormality or leakage of document secrecy, while preventing increase of master consumption caused by frequent winding of unengraved masters, or failure like excessive drying caused by stripping of a dram screen for a long term.
In the stencil printer wherein the engraved master 79 is wound around an outer periphery of the printing dram 60, ink is supplied to the master of the outer periphery of the printing dram, and printing paper 56 is pressed onto the master on the outer periphery of the printing dram by a pressing means 66 to form printing images on the printing paper, a means 80 stripping a used master 79 after printing from the printing dram 60, and a means rewinding the stripped used master around the printing dram 60 are provided. Thus, the used master after printing is once stripped from the printing dram and can be rewound, to suppress occurrence of residual image development causing image abnormality or leakage of document secrecy.
