The stencil printer 1 includes: a plate cylinder 5; and a plate making section 3 which plate makes a master 24 and conveys it toward the plate cylinder 5, wherein the plate making section 3 includes a master stock means 19 to temporarily store the plate made master 24, and the plate cylinder 5 includes a clamper 8 positioning and holding the front edge of the conveyed master 24 on the periphery thereof, wherein the master stock means 19 includes a suction means 19a, which sucks the master 24 to the inside and makes the suction means 19a operate after the front edge of the master 24, is positioned and held by the clamper 8.
