To provide a stencil printing apparatus capable of aligning image positions in a plurality of document images even when there is variation in the lengths of masters nipped by a clamper without delaying the first print time.
In the stencil printing apparatus 1 including: a plate-making unit 3; a printing unit 2 including a plate cylinder 7 having a clamper 15 holding a master 23 on an outer circumferential surface; a plate discharge unit 5; and a paper feed unit 4, wherein the plate-making unit 3 includes a master stock device 20 for temporarily storing the master subjected to plate-making and a plate discharge operation and a plate-making operation may be performed in parallel, the stencil printing apparatus includes a detector 33 for detecting the length of the master protruding from the clamper 15 when the master 23 subjected to plate-making is held by the clamper 15. The paper feed timing of paper P fed from the paper feed unit 4 is changed in response to the length of the master 23 detected by the detector 33.
