The stencil printing apparatus includes: a panel unit 100 for receiving input such as secret setting instructions, printing instructions, and authentication information, from a user; a secret mode setting unit 90 for receiving the secret setting instructions to a first print drum 45, setting a secret mode to prohibit printing using a plate-made stencil wound on the first print drum 45 when receiving the instructions, and recording the authentication information of the user issuing the instructions on a first memory 45; and a print control unit 92, upon receiving the printing instructions by the first print drum 45 using the panel unit 100 when the secret mode is set in the first print drum 45, for comparing the authentication information of the user issuing the instructions with the authentication information recorded in the first memory 45, and permitting the printing by the first print drum 45 if both authentication information is coincident with each other.
