To provide a stencil printing device which is equipped with a paper tip retaining member capable of preventing the generation of paper conveyance jam and thereby, conveying the paper successfully, and can obtain satisfactory double-side printed matter continuously.
This stencil printing device 1 comprises a printing part 2, a paper discharging part 5, a paper replenishing means 6 for replenishing the paper P to the printing part 2 after temporarily storing the paper P and a switching member 7 for guiding the paper P already passing through the printing part 2, to the paper discharging part 5 or the paper replenishing means 6. In addition, the device 1 can perform double-side printing through a back surface printing process by replenishing the paper P to the printing part 2 after the surface printing process. The paper replenishing means 6 has an auxiliary tray 16 for storing the paper P temporarily and a paper tip retaining member 20 which retains the tip of the paper P fed from the printing part 2, near the printing part 2 and can freely move back and forth above the auxiliary tray 16 which releases the paper P near the downstream edge part, in the paper conveyance direction, of the auxiliary tray 16. Besides, a retaining power increasing means for increasing the paper P tip retaining power, is arranged on the paper tip retaining member 20.
