To provide stencil printing equipment, with which curling is prevented from developing even at the printing of a plate-making image having a solid image and consequently a favorable printed matter is obtained.

The stencil printing equipment is equipped with an image reading part 7, a plate-making part 3, a plate cylinder 10, a paper feeding part 4, a pressing means 11 for pressing a printing paper P against the plate cylinder 10, a peeling-off means 89 for peeling the printing paper P with an air knife 94 off the plate cylinder 10, a solid image detecting means 136 for detecting whether a solid image is present or not in a copy image, a printing speed varying means 38 shown in Fig. 2 and a pressing force varying means 36 shown in Fig 3. When the solid image is detected with the solid image detecting means 136 in the copy image, the rotary peripheral speed of the plate cylinder 10 is set by the printing speed varying means 38 to the predetermined value and the amount of the ink transmitted from the plate cylinder 10 to the printing paper P is set by the pressing force varying means 36 to the predetermined value.
