To provide a stencil printing method which performs stencil printing using a stencil, already through with a plate making process, which is formed of a thermoplastic film and a porous support superposed over each other and features the use of two or more different kinds of the stencil, ensuring the performance of the stencil printing with a stable print density even in case the voids of the porous supports of different kinds of the stencils are different.
In this method, information indicating the voids of the porous support of the stencil M is stored in a storage means 70 installed at a stencil roll 21b and acquired using a support kind acquisition means 65. A printing pressure control means 66 controls a printing pressure by driving an electric motor 124 for printing pressure adjustment in accordance with the voids of the porous support.
