To provide a stencil printing system wherein a final printing finished state can be predicted before a plate is made, and wasteful consumption in the plate-making, ink and printing papers can be prevented from occurring while taking the particularity of the stencil printing which goes through a plate- making process wherein a plate-making is performed with a stencil original paper under a mirror image state under consideration.
The stencil printing system is equipped with a plate-making device 5 and a printing device 2. In this case, the plate-making device 5 makes a plate by boring a stencil original paper 3 by a plate-making head 17 under a mirror image state, based on input image data for the plate-making. Also, the printing device 2 performs a printing on a printing paper 13 using a plate cylinder 1 on which a prepared master 4 is wound. In such a stencil printing system, before the plate is made by the plate-making device 5, an image prior to the plate-making, under a normal image state, is printed and output on a heat-sensitive paper 22 which is a printing medium, by the printing head 17, based on image data prior to the plate-making which is the image data corresponding with the image data for the plate-making. Thus, a final printing finished state can be predicted before the plate-making.
