To provide a stencil printing system which can detect and manage remaining master/master near-end detection/master end detection through one system and, consequently contributes to improvement in the work efficiency of a user of a stencil printing device or an operator of the device.
In a master roll 119, a marker 2 is formed in a master sending direction on a master, wherein the marker is bit strings each having a period and has such a property that the position is uniquely defined on the bit string when the continuous bit strings having an arbitrary width is extracted from bit strings. The marker 2 comprises a continuously formed part and an intermittently formed part. A stencil printing device 100 has a control means 8 which performs a control so as to read the marker 2 by means of a marker reading means 3, analyze the read marker, determine the master state such as the remaining master/master near-end/master end by means of marker information obtained by the analysis of the marker and perform a display of the remaining master and an alarm in accordance with respective master states.
