Abstract:
To provide a stent that can be accommodated to curved or tortuous vascular structures such as the thoracic aorta and has no risk of causing undesirable action on the artery wall after the elapse of an extended amount of time in a body.SOLUTION: A stent member 300 for use in a medical procedure has opposing sets of curved apices 302 and 304, where the curved section of one set of apices has a radius of curvature that is greater than the curved section of the other set of apices.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
