PURPOSE: To utilize effectively a magnetic flux obtained by excitation of a stator by using a cylindrical second permanent magnet in addition to a ring discoidal first permanent magnet and also by using as magnetic pole teeth opposed faces opposite to magnetic poles of both permanent magnets.
CONSTITUTION: A ring discoidal permanent magnet 1 and a cylindrical permanent magnet 2 are combined into an integral body and hubs 13 are respectively fitted into a hole 12 in the central part of said permanent magnet 1 from both faces of said hole 12; and permanent magnets 1, 2 and a rotating shaft 3 are combined into an integral body to form a rotor 4. If a stator core 5 is excited by a coil 6, a magnetic path A for a magnetic flux to pass through the permanent magnet 1 and a magnetic path B for said flux to pass through the permanent magnet 2 are formed so as to enable using the magnetic flux more effectively and improving torque a step motor can generate, though a size of motor remains the same.
