Abstract:
To improve acceleration performance after a downshift while suppressing rapid deceleration at a downshift.SOLUTION: A stepless-transmission control apparatus is for use in switching characteristics of a shift ratio determined by a vehicular speed and a target input shaft rotation speed by changing a shift position. In a case where the shift position is changed from a first range, at which actual shift ratio is determined between a characteristic of a minimum shift ratio and that of a maximum shift ratio, to a second shift position, at which an upper limit of characteristic of a shift ratio is larger than the first range, resulting in actual shift ratio not exceeding a characteristic of threshold shift ratio that is smaller than the upper limit when the shift position is changed, the control apparatus executes shift control by switching the upper limit to the characteristic of the threshold shift ratio. While in a case where, during a travel in the state of the second range, an operation is performed requiring actual shift ration exceeding the characteristic of the threshold shift ration, the control apparatus corrects the post-switching upper limit on the basis of a vehicular speed and a rotation speed of the input shift of the stepless transmission at the time of performing the aforementioned operation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
