To provide a stepping motor and a manufacturing method for its pole teeth capable of correcting a positional relation and shape of the pole teeth, and providing an improvement in angle accuracy and an improvement in torque characteristics.
In this stepping motor which is disposed with stators (3a, 4a), (3b, 4b) in A phase and B phase so as to be hung on both the sides of a rotor, the rotor has a coil in a direction along a rotor shaft, an iron core is disposed in the center of the coil, upper yoke plates 3a, 3b and lower yoke plates 4a, 4b having comb teeth-shaped pole teeth 5 facing the rotor are disposed at both the edges of the iron core, the upper pole teeth 5 are engaged with the lower pole teeth 5, and the respective pole teeth 5 of the stator set the corresponding positions between the A phase and the B phase at (360°/p)×(2n-1)+θ with a machine angle, where n is an integer, p is the number of steps, θ is a drifted angle, and the drifted angle θ is a machine angle, and is set at 0°<|θ|<0.2×360°/p.
