The stepping motor comprises a mold yoke 7 where the pole teeth K1 of a yoke 7aa and the pole teeth K2 of a yoke 7ab are coupled while being meshed through insulating resin M1, the pole teeth K3 of a yoke 7ba and the pole teeth K4 of a yoke 7bb are coupled while being meshed through insulating resin M2, and the yokes 7ab and 7ba are coupled back to back through insulating resin M1, M2, and a tubular case 6 with a shell plate portion 6b having the inner side face to which the outer circumferential edge of annular flanges F1-F4 are bonded wherein the shell plate portion 6b has a first cut S1 along the circumferential direction at the back-to-back boundary position P of the annular flanges F2 and F3 on the inner side face.
