Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stepping motor capable of improving the accuracy of a stop position of a rotor.SOLUTION: A stepping motor 1 is provided with an energizing member 9 for energizing a rotor 10 toward an opposite output side L2 in a motor axial direction L, and a supporting surface 29 for slidably supporting a supported surface 19 turned to the opposite output side L2 of the rotor 10 on a fixed body 2 side. A first sliding load Ta (the whole of a sliding load applied on the rotor 10) applied on the rotor 10, and a second sliding load Tb between the supporting surface 29 and the supported surface 19 of the first sliding load Ta are larger than detent torque Td acted on the rotor 10. Therefore, when the supply of an exciting current to the stator 20 is stopped and the rotor 10 is intended to be stopped at a predetermined position, even if the detent torque Td is added to the rotor 10, the rotor 10 is stopped at the predetermined position by the first sliding load Ta. The first sliding load Ta is smaller than dymanic torque Te which the rotor 10 receives from the stator 20.
