Abstract:
To provide a stereo camera capable of more stereophonically recording sound in stereoscopic photography than in ordinary photography.
In recording sound information on a recording medium 43, a CPU 32 controls so that the sound information may be acquired by using microphones 90A and 90B if a stereoscopic photography mode for performing three-dimensional photography is selected, and that the sound information may be acquired by using the microphone (microphone 90A or 90B), the number of which is smaller than that of the microphones used when the stereoscopic photography mode is selected if an ordinary photography mode for performing two-dimensional photography is selected.
