Title:
STEREOSCOPIC PHOTOGRAPH WHICH DOES NOT REQUIRE SPECTACLES
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH075598
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To make it possible to obtain stereoscopic images by forming a photograph alternately arrayed with right photographs and left photographs in the form of fine bands, sticking a vertically striped screen to this photograph and viewing the photograph.

CONSTITUTION: A transparent plate of a suitable thickness formed by drawing fine lines at equal intervals spaced by the width of these lines on its surface is brought into tight contact with the surface of the photograph. The parts viewed by the right eye and the parts viewed by the left eyes line up alternately as the vertically slender bands when this photograph is viewed from above. The right photograph enters only the right eye and the left photograph enters only the left eye if the right photograph of one set of the stereoscopic photographs is printed to the part A and the left photograph to the part B and these photographs are viewed through the vertically striped screen stick thereto. A stereoscopic feel is, therefore, obtd. The right photograph and the left photograph are discontinuous photographs if the stereoscopic photographs are formed in such a manner but these photographs appear as the continuous photographs when viewed by the naked dyes if the width of the vertical stripes is extremely reduced.
