Abstract:

To generate a high voltage pulse waveform in a large and sharp shape for which a voltage value peak is high in a sterilization method utilizing a high voltage.

A power source part for generating the high voltage and a processor provided with a discharge side electrode and a ground side electrode for applying the generated high voltage are provided and a sterilization object is interposed between both electrodes and is sterilized by generating pulse streamer discharge between the electrodes. By reducing the resistance value of a resistor connected parallelly to both electrodes, the half-value width of the high voltage pulse waveform is narrowed. Thus, the high voltage pulse waveform in the large and sharp shape for which the voltage value peak is high is obtained.
