Abstract:
To provide a process for preventing the defecation of dogs and cats intruded in a sandbox and effectively exterminate the sundry germs and mawworms, or the like, in the sand.
A wire heater 4 to generate heat with electric current is embedded in the sand 3 of the sandbox 1 to heat the sand and thermally sterilize the microorganisms and mawworms in the sand. A loud speaker 7 generating ultrasonic wave of a high-frequency region disliked by dogs and cats is placed at a prescribed part of the sandbox to repel the dogs and cats from the sandbox by the ultrasonic wave.
