Abstract:
To provide a sterilizer of a cup-type automatic vending machine capable of efficiently sterilizing water stored in a cistern and an inner wall of the cistern through UV radiation.SOLUTION: A cistern 1A has a straight cylindrical upper part 1a and a truncated conical lower part 1b. A lid 5 is provided with a water supply port 2. A bottom part 1c of the cistern 1A is provided with a discharge port 3. The lower part 1b is provided with a plurality of UV-LEDs 7 for irradiating water in the cistern 1A with ultraviolet light. The UV-LEDs are installed at equally-divided positions in a circumferential direction of the cistern 1A.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
