PURPOSE: To provide a sterilizing disinfectant containing stabilized chlorine dioxide as an active component, having deodorizing, disinfecting, sterilizing and antiseptic effect, and applied to a sterilizing liquid for the sterilizing tools including the beautifying and the hair-dressing means at a proper amount.

CONSTITUTION: Stabilized chlorine dioxide (ClO2) is used as an active component of the sterilizing disinfectant for cosmetic use, and the active component is added in the form of an aqueous solution, powder, fine granules or jelly to the disinfection liquid such as water, distilled water, hot water, or other sterilizing solution for various tools such as sterilizer, processor, towel steamer, etc. of cosmetic or hair-dressing use at a proper concentration or a proper amount. The disinfectant is a strong oxidizing agent having deodorizing, disinfecting, sterilizing and antiseptic effect, and has an antibacterial activity to eliminate the ill odor from its origin. In addition to the above, the agent is colorless, tasteless and odorless, and exhibits remarkable effect as a sterilizing disinfectant.
