PURPOSE: To improve a wake gain, by including the intersecting line of a horizontal surface, including a base line, and a vertical surface, including the center line of a ship body, and setting a tilt angle of an inner slope, tangential to the rotary circle of a propeller, to a specific value larger than an outer slope similarly obtained from the side of maximum line width on the horizontal surface.
CONSTITUTION: In the stern part of a stern-catamaran dual-shaft ship, including the intersecting line (d) of a horizontal surface Pb, containing a base line (b), and a vertical surface Pc, containing the center line C of a ship body in each ordinate, further projecting a slope Pi, tangential to the disc line (e) of a propeller, to the vertical surface Pc to obtain a line Li, an inner tilt angle θi made by the line Li is constituted to such relation as 1W1.7 times the outer tilt angle θo made by a diagonal line Lo similarly obtained from a maximum width line (f) on the horizontal surface Pb. In this way, a rising stream is increased in the center side of the ship body, then a wake gain can be increased in the stern propulsive part, thus propulsive performance can be improved.
