To provide a stern structure capable of reinforcing a support structure of a propeller shaft pipe, suppressing resistance increase by additament, and improving propulsion efficiency, and to provide a marine vessel using the same.
The stern structure of the marine vessel includes a plurality of propellers 10, 20, a plurality of propeller shafts 12, 22, and a stern structural body 4. The plurality of propeller shaft pipes 11, 21 are provided corresponding to the plurality of propellers 10, 20 and passed through with the plurality of propeller shafts 12, 22 connected to the plurality of propellers 10, 20. The stern structural body 4 extends backward from a stern 3 and expands outward relative to a vessel center line C to include portions which extend backward from the stern 3 out of the plurality of propeller shafts 12, 22. The inner side of the stern structural body 4 is the inside of a vessel. The stern structural body 4 supports the plurality of propeller shaft pipes 11, 21 inside the vessel.
