Abstract:
To provide a novel substance namely a novel stilbene derivative that emits blue light of excellent color purity, and a light emitting element, a display device and electronic equipment that employ the novel substance therein.
The novel substance namely the novel stilbene derivative is represented by general formula (1), wherein Ar1and Ar2each represent a 6-25C aryl group that may comprise a 1-4C alkyl group; Ar1and Ar2may directly bind to each other to form a five membered ring; A11represents a substituent represented by one of general formula (1-1) to general formula (1-3); and A11and the nitrogen atom to which Ar1and Ar2are bonded can be bonded to the stilbene in any of the orhto, the meta, and the para position thereof relative to the double bond of the stilbene.
