CONSTITUTION: A still picture communication equipment 208 is provided in addition to a dynamic image communication equipment 207, and picture of a document or the like is sent/received with the other party terminal equipment by the still picture communication equipment 208. Furthermore, a still picture storage device 204 storing a still picture sent/received is provided and the stored still picture is synthesized with a dynamic image sent/received by the dynamic image communication equipment 207 in a semi-transparent state. Since the compression expansion system of a picture of the still picture communication differs from that of the dynamic image communication and highly accurate picture is sent/received, a document or the like is shared as a highly accurate picture. Furthermore, a stored picture by the still picture storage device 204 is used for a document or the like for command and writing or the like and cooperation plotting is attained without direct write onto the document.
