PURPOSE: To allow the recording two pieces of radiograph information on one sheet and to facilitate the handling of a cassette by having phosphor layers which are recording surfaces on both surfaces of the stimulable phosphor sheet.

CONSTITUTION: The sheet 10 has a flat base 12 consisting of a radiation shielding material, the phosphor layers 14, 16 consisting of the stimulable phosphor applied on both surfaces of the base 12, and protective films 18, 20 covering the respective phosphor layers 14, 16. The base 12 is constituted of the radiation shielding material consisting of lead or the compd. thereof, etc., so as to prevent the transmission of radiations from one surface to the other at the time of recording. The recording of the radiation image information on both surfaces is possible in this way and the handling of the cassette is facilitated.
