Abstract:
To prepare stimulus-response type biodegradable resin particles show ing characteristics high in stability in use and rapid in decomposition firstly when discarded brought into contact with water or microorganisms in water or in soil after use.
A stimulus-response type biodegradable resin composite is prepared by rendering in a non-swollen state a biodegradable polymeric water obsorption gel which causes change in volume by not less than five times after the absorption of pure water and chemically bonding a polymeric compound to the surface of the biodegradable polymeric water absorption gel in the non- swollen state. In order to chemically bond the polymeric compound, it is only necessary graft polymerize a polymerizable monomer.
