Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a simple and inexpensive stirrer which obviates an increase of thickened products, allows the utilization of the capability of a pasteurizing machine to the maximum possible extent and is reducing a product cost according to the quality of the products.
CONSTITUTION: This stirrer has a mixing/pasteurizing blade 8 which is disposed on the opposite side in the substantially diametral direction of a scrapping screw 7 with respect to a revolving shaft in addition to the scraping screw 7 and consists of a frame of a rectangular quadrilateral shape spanned with a traversing member 208 in order to prevent the upward movement of the thickened product, such as cream, by the scraping screw. The side parts of this frame, i.e., the radial outer side 108 and the lower side, are respectively parted with a slight small margin from the inner flank and bottom of a tank 2 and the frame is so formed as to extend nearly to the middle of the tank 2 in a perpendicular direction.
