PURPOSE: To efficiently transmit transfer demand data for a cargo to be stored in an automatic warehouse.

CONSTITUTION: A plurality of storage parts which store cargo boxes are formed in an automatic warehouse, and cargoes in the storage parts are controlled by a stock controller. When cargo boxes are carried in the storage parts, carry-in demand data is transmitted to the stock controller in advance. The carry-in demand data is a set product number which specifies the contents of parts in cargo boxes, that is, product number and quantity and consists of a data number less than the data number showing product number and quantity. For example, set product number S1 shows as the contents of parts in cargo boxes that 10 parts having product number A, 10 parts having product number B, and 20 parts having product number C are stored. On the other hand, reference data which shows the contents of parts in cargo boxes corresponding to set product number is stored in the stock controller. Consequently, when the set product number S1 is transmitted to the stock controller as carry-in demand data when cargo boxes are carried in the automatic warehouse, the stock controller judges the contents of parts in cargo boxes based on the reference data D1.
