Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a stock with high mass productibility, its outer diameter being small to reduce wind resistance, by winding a sheet around a core piece and then press inserting the wound sheet(cylindrical) in a forming groove of a forming split mold, and thus press forming a stock pole in the split mold by pressure supplying gas into the interior of the cylindrical member.
CONSTITUTION: A cylindrical member 3 is formed by fitting a movable tube member 2 on a fine core piece 1. Inorganic fibers 5 are disposed on a sheet 4 of inorganic fibers, the former fibers being aligned in a single direction. The inorganic fibers 5 are fixed on the sheet 4 by use of a resin, thereby forming a winding sheet 6. The cylindrical member 3 is then placed at one end of the winding sheet 6 parallel to the direction of the inorganic fibers 5, so that the winding sheet 6 is wound round by means of the cylindrical member 3. Then, the fine core piece 1 is pulled off, and so a cylindrical member 7 is formed. The cylindrical member 7 is then press inserted in a forming groove 8 of a forming split mold 9, with one end of the tube member 2 being closed. The split mold 9 is then closed. Gas is supplied into the interior of the tube member 2 and simultaneously the forming split mold 9 is heated/pressed. After cooling, the product is released from the mold, finished.
