PURPOSE: To prevent drapery from being damaged at a stocker for roll shaped draperies by providing in multi steps shelves inclined downward to an exit side, and filing shelf plates provided at the fronts and the rears with stoppers which are appearable/disappearable, and providing a lift for supply on an entrance side and a lift for take-out and a stopper operation means on the exit side.

CONSTITUTION: A drapery is transferred to a drapery receiver 6B at a supply lift 6 from a drapery carrying vehicle. And, the lift 6 is raised and moved to a predetermined shelf 4 position. Next, the drapery is transferred onto a shelf plate 5 on the shelf 4 by move-inclining the drapery receiver 6B. The drapery on the shelf plate 5 is turned and moved until it strike-contacts a preceding drapery which is prevented from going down due to a stopper 20. Meantime, on the exit side, the position of a take out lift 7 is made to be the position of the predetermined shelf 4, and a stopper 10 is released by means of a stopper operation means which is not shown in the drawing, and the top drapery is transferred to the receiver 7B of the take out lift 7. Next, the stopper 10 is returned, and the next drapery is moved forward by releasing the stopper 20. Thus, the damage of drapery can be prevented.
