To obtain a stop ring attaching and detaching tool which can easily detach a stop ring from a shaft body and restrain the stop ring from dropping during an attaching and detaching operation of the stop ring to the shaft body.
The stop ring attaching and detaching tool includes an outer tube 21 and an inner tube 22 coaxially fitted so as to be rotatable around an axis, a first shank 24 and a second shank 25 fixed to the outer tube 21 and the inner tube 22, and a first fitting protrusion 28 and a second fitting protrusion 29 spaced radially by a first space between an axis of a roller shaft and a hole part 1c, respectively, when the stop ring 1 is fitted to the roller shaft from the axes of the outer tube 21 and the inner tube 22 and extended from one-side ends of the outer tube 21 and the inner tube 22, respectively. The inner tube 22 has an inner diameter corresponding to an outer diameter of the roller shaft. A space between the first fitting protrusion 28 and the second fitting protrusion 29 can be adjusted by operating the first shank 24 and the second shank 25 to rotate the outer tube 21 and the inner tube 22 in an opposite direction to each other.
