To provide the stopper for an infusion container suitably used in the infusion container constituted of a polyolefinic resin excellent in flexiblity, having an excellent heat resistance and the excellent heat sealability with a container main body or the like, preventing the elution of an additive such as an oxidation inhibitor or the like to a liquid content during a retort sterilizing treatment or preservation, reducing the occurrence of insoluble fine particles and having good moldability, and the infusion container having the stopper mounted therein.
The stopper for the infusion container is constituted of a resin composition containing (1) an ethylene/α-olefin copolymer due to a metallocene catalyst preferably having a density of 0.920 g/cm3 or above and (2) another plyethylenic resin, preferably high pressure low or high density polyethylene.
