To provide a storage container for specimen storage capable of storing a specimen in a low-temperature state and being carried easily.SOLUTION: A storage container for a specimen container comprises: a body part 13 that is composed of a sheet-like base-side region 11 and a lid-side region 12, and in which the surface of the base-side region 11 and the surface of the lid-side region 12 can be arranged to face each other; and a plurality of cold storage members 31 that is provided inside the body part 13 and performs cold storage by being cooled. In the body part 13 that is in a face posture in which the surface of the base-side region 11 and the surface of the lid-side region 12 are arranged to face each other, since the plurality of cold storage members 31 are spaced from each other, they are sandwiched between the surface of the base-side region 11 and the surface of the lid-side region 12, and a specimen container 110 is accommodated in an accommodation space S arranged at the position corresponding to an interval 35a between the cold storage members 31.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
