To provide a storage device controller which surely detects a busy state when accessing a storage device by write transfer followed by a response having busy state notification and achieves accurate write operation, and to provide an information processing apparatus, electronic equipment and a method for accessing the storage device.
The storage device controller for accessing the storage device includes a write control part for issuing a write command to the storage device and outputting write data to the storage device and a busy detection part for detecting a busy state of the storage device. Under the condition that the busy detection part has received a response from the storage device according to the write command, the busy detection part starts the detection of a busy state, and when a non-busy state of the storage device is detected by the busy detection part, the write control part starts the output of the write data.
