Abstract:
To provide a storage device in/from which data can be efficiently stored and erased.
The storage device is provided with a data processing means 2 for processing data and a flash memory 6 in which a plurality of blocks being an erasure unit are set, and stores and erases the data in each of n pieces of blocks 61. This device repeatedly adds a series of ≥(n+1) pieces of codes to each piece of data in turn in order of storage, detects all data codes that have been already stored in the case of storing new data, decides a code to be attached to the data from the detected codes, further discriminates the oldest data among the detected codes to erase the oldest data and also stores the new data in the block from which the data is erased.
