Abstract:
To provide a storage management system which can enhance its security, safety, and operability for storages.SOLUTION: A storage management system comprises a PC2 for remotely managing storages 3 installed at predetermined locations in a building, with storage controllers and the PC2 connected using a private communication line 14 provided in the building. The storage controller comprises: administrator authentication means (authentication section) that authenticates registration information of an administrator which is output from the PC2; and storage operation prohibition means that sets operation of the storage 3 by a user into a prohibited state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
