PURPOSE: To eliminate the position shift between display only by a display cathode-ray tube and display through a storage tube, by giving a sweep signal a difference corresponding to a correcting signal between the observation of a signal only by the display cathode-ray tube and the recording of the signal in the storage tube.
CONSTITUTION: The scanning conversion type storage tube 11 and display CRT21 are provided; an input signal is displayed on the CRT21 directly and a signal read out of the storage tube 11 is also displayed thereupon. A vertical deflecting circuit 27 supplies deflecting voltages to vertical deflecting plates 15 and 24 of the storage tube and CRT21 and also supplies a raster scanning signal to the defleting plate 15. A horizontal deflecting circuit 36 supplies deflecting voltages to horizontal deflecting plates 16 and 25 and a raster scanning signal to the deflecting plate 16 a luminance circuit 44 supplies a luminance signal to the control grids 14, 23. A position correcting circuit 52 generates a signal for correcting the shift in position between the display on the CRT21 without intervention of the storage tube 11 and the display on the CRT21 by reading the storage tube 11, and a switch S1 is turned on only during recording to supply the signal to a circuit 36.
