To provide a storage rack vertically storing various articles such as a book, CD, video tape, DVD, having a simple structure, and facilitating the storing and taking out operation.

The storage rack includes a bottom plate 1 composed of a plate member having at least one pair of parallel opposite sides, partition members 2 vertically raised on the surface of the bottom plate at arbitrary intervals and each having a partition surface for dividing the bottom plates into a plurality of regions, and a base 3 abutting on the back side of the bottom plate and mounting the bottom plate thereon. The base 3 is provided with bottom plate slide guide means 31a and 32a abutting on or covering near the sides and upper parts of the pair of parallel opposite sides so that the bottom plate is allowed to be slid on the base only in a direction along the specific pair of parallel opposite sides, and the bottom plate 1 is provided with a slide control means 12aa for controlling the slide movement of the bottom plate by making the sliding bottom plate abut against the slide guide means.
