PURPOSE: To enhance operation efficiency of each transfer means and further of an entire factory by storing an object to be processed in a storage means arranged between processes for a period of time while the object is being transferred from one process to another.

CONSTITUTION: An object to be processed is applied with an A process at an A block AB and, after being stored in a rack 300a temporarily, is transferred in succession according to the demand of a B block BB to the B block BB. A rack 300b similarly stores an object to be processed at a position between the B block BB and a C block CB. As described above, the object to be processed is stored in a storage means arranged between the processes for a period of time while the object to be processed is being transferred from one process to another. Accordingly, there is no need to accumulate a transfer means itself between the processes for a long period of time. As a result, operation efficiency of each transfer means and further of an entire factory can be enhanced.
