Abstract:

To provide a technique capable of forming, in a storage system having a plurality of control parts connected with a plurality of disk device, a replication in a volume within a disk device connected to a different control part.

A replication formation part of one control part registers, when the replication is formed in a volume within a disk device connected to the other control part, volume information of a replication source, volume information of a replication destination in the one control part, and information for the other control part in pair information, and transmits a request for forming the replication to the other control part based on the pair information.
