Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent the positional displacement (surface displacement) between a case body and a lid of a floppy disk case when the case is closed with the lid.
CONSTITUTION: A case 1 for containing a floppy disk is composed of a case body 2, a lid 3 and a backbone part 6 interposed between the case body 2 and the lid 3 which are joined thereto by hinges 4 and 5, respectively. When the case body 2 is closed with the lid 3, the end face 2b of the side wall 2a provided on the peripheral edge of the case body 2 and the end face 3b of the side wall 3a provided on the peripheral edge of the lid 3 are overlapped one another. The end faces 2b and 3b are provided with an inclined engaging part 7 and an inclined mating' part respectively, which are interengageable when the side walls 2a and 3a are overlapped in order to position the case body 2 and the lid 3.
