Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely prevent a wood-burning stove from falling down at a low cost without spoiling its beauty, and to securely prevent a fire from taking place.SOLUTION: There is provided a stove base isolation system 1A comprising a flat plate type base isolation stand 2A which is mounted with a wood-burning stove 100 and absorbs motions of an earthquake; and a tube universal joint 4A which is interposed between a funnel constitution member 40 extending upward from the side of the wood-burning stove 100 and a funnel constitution member 50 connected thereto from above so as to connect them together. The base isolation stand 2A has a flat plate type base 20 having a smooth upper surface and a slide plate 22 which has the wood-burning stove 100 mounted on its upper surface side, and also has a lower surface side serving as a slide contact surface sliding to move horizontally on the base 20 in response to a lateral shake of a predetermined or higher level. On an upper surface outer edge side of the base 20, an enclosure type frame 25 is provided which stops the slide plate 22 from protruding from the upper surface of the base 20, and the slide plate 22 slides horizontally within the range enclosed with the frame 25 if an earthquake takes place so as to absorb its lateral shake.
