To provide a straightening machine which can achieve high-precision straightening by improving rigidity of the machine without requiring enlargement in size thereof.
Main body 11 of the straightening machine 10 comprises a pair of frame members 16, 16 separated in material feed direction along pass line of the straightening material W, plural connecting members 17 for connecting the both frame members 16, 16, and plural holding members 18 inserted in between the both frame members 16, 16. Each frame member 16 is formed into a rectangular frame by mutually-connecting a pair of vertical frame materials 19, 19 and a pair of lateral frame materials, 20, 20 formed into a rectangular cylinder shape in its cross section. On the straightening space S formed inside the main body 11, upper straightening roll 12 and lower straightening roll 13 are arranged sandwiching the pass line of the straightening material W. Then the material W fed along the pass line is straightened by allowing it to pass through the area between both of the straightening rolls 12 and 13.
